Assign Statistical WBS to Sale Order

Hi All,

When trying to assign a Statistical WBS to a Sale Order Item . I am getting a error Message no. CJ070 "WBS element AB/00001 is a statistical WBS element".

The SAP OSS Note 43875 states that u201Cusage of statistical WBS elements as additional account assignment in SD is not supported in the systemu201D.

Is there any other way in which I can link this Statistical WBS to the sale order?

Can I change this standard message from Error to Warning ?

My requirement is to Copy cost for MTO and MTS process via statistical WBS.

Any Inputs will be appreciated.

I think it is not possbiel to link statistical WBS to link SO and it is not advised to do the chagne error message to warning even if it allowed withign knowing it effect. If you want more logic why it is not supported by SAP than talk to some CO expert.

I think the note 43875 , which you mentioned, itself clearly states that the Statistical WBSE cannot be used in sales order. If SAP itself has declared such things, then how do you expect forum can help you in overruling the SAP settings.

Even if you find a way to change the error to warning message, I would not suggest you to do so, your problem may seem to be solved, but it will have bad impact in some other process which you may not know now.
