PDK for MS .NET 3.0 on NWCE 7.2

Hi,

I am trying to develop some iViews using MS .NET using the PDK route.

I have installed PDK for MS .NET 3.0 on my Visual Studio 2005.

Apart from that I have also installed the Runtime of PDK for MS .NET 3.0 and have started the service using .NET Runtime mmc.

I am still unable to run the the .NET published page on my CE portal and neither I am able to the "NET Runtime Service Configuration". I am getting the following error in both the cases.

Portal Runtime Error

An exception occurred while processing your request

Exception id: 12:38_20/09/10_0001_2416450

Refer to the log file for details about this exception.

I tried locating the com.sap.portal.dotnet.framework.sda & com.sap.portal.dotnet.services.systems.sda, but could'nt locate the same in my CE 7.2. Almost in the all places it is being said that it is part of the PDK package. But in the download I have has only portaladdin30_0-10008738.exe & portalruntime30_0-10008677.exe.

Anyone please guide me on how to get these components so that I can import the same into my NWCE 7.2 system.

I am having this NWCE 7.2 environment and MS Visual Studio, all in my laptop iteself.

Hi Ram,

Looking at not 1380653 leads me to believe that the PDK for MS .Net only works with a SAP NetWeaver 7.0 portal and not CE 7.2.

Hi Oliver,

I had gone thru the note you have mentioned.

I believe NWCE 7.2 portal also has the support for PDK .NET as I am seeing the links related to the configuration as mentioned in the help guide of Netweaver 7.0 EhP1 "http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70ehp1/helpdata/en/22/ceeb41eda96624e10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm".

I am able to drill down the following link on the NWCE portal:

"System Administration"->"Support" -> "Portal Runtime for Microsoft .NET" -> ".NET Runtime Service Configuration".

Once I click ".NET Runtime Service Configuration", I am getting the "Portal Runtime Error".

"An exception occurred while processing your request

Exception id: 07:09_20/09/10_0002_2416450

Refer to the log file for details about this exception."

Hi Ram,

Interesting. Indeed, that path is there and I get an error too (CE 7.2 SP3)

Exception ID 07:48_20/09/10_0001_4680750.

Let me investigate and see what I can find out.
