STMS problem in TMS Alerts

Former Member
0 Kudos

Hello all, i am getting beloww error in STMS alerts, does any bosy know how to correct it?

I re-created TMS configuration and also regenerated RFC destination and reset user TMSADM but nothing worked.

I am trying to import a client 900 on a different isolated system from another sap system (systems are based upon ECC6 EHP4).

Error occurred in ETT TMS communication

Message no. XT149

Diagnosis

An error occurred in the TMS communication layer of the following SAP

system:

System: ETT.DOMAIN_ETT(000)

Function: TMS_CC_READ_CCCFLOW_OF_TRKORR

Error: SERVICE_NOT_AVAILABLE ()

System Response

The function terminates.

Procedure

Check your transport control station configuration with transaction STMS.

I think this problem is related to STMS, it does not have any connection to Client import. can anybody plese suggest me what to do?

We are on MS windows 2003 server with SQL server 2005 as backend.

Mani

Hello Mani,

never saw this specific error code. I suggest creating an OSS message under component BC-CTS-TMS asking for a consultant to log on and analyse this issue in details, I believe it's the fastest and safest way to fix this.

Or, alternatively, please put the content of dev trace files dev_rd, dev_rfc and the correspondent dev_w* (repeat the process to get fresh new log files).

If you're trying to import a request (and is not able to do so because of this error) please do it manually on the OS level with the following command:

tp import <request_name> clientxxx <SID> u18 pf= TP_DOMAIN_SID.PFL

Best regards,

thanks Tomas and Sanujit, i am importing it at OS level now its running. i think there is some problem at SAP Gui level i am not able to add request to import buffer from STMS_import >> Extras >> other requests >> add ( i tried with a test request). but i was able to import the same request from OS level. so after successfully importing test request i tried to run client import at OS level, its running fine untill now.

can anybody tell me how i can check if the import is still runnign at OS level or not or ther is any error. I have client import file size around 8 GB, dos anybody know how much time it will take to complete at OS level.

For your information here is the log error from DEV_W0 and DEV_RD file, there is nothing in DEV_RFC latest file.

Hello Mani,

the error seen in dev_w0 is likely not related to the original problem you reported in STMS. Moreover, there's nothing useful in dev_rd or dev_rfc, like you said....

Please create an OSS message under BC-CTS component and ask it to be handled by me (Tomas Black), open up both R/3 and WTS/SSH connection to the OS level (is it Windows or Unix/Linux?). I'll log on and check the problem, then I'll update this thread to inform the solution to the community as well.

Please inform on this thread the number of the OSS message.

Best regards,

Tomas Black

Hi Mani,

You can check the current status of the import, though STMS, Import Monitor.

Mani,

If I am correct, you have exported a client from another system and trying to import it on the this system (If I am right the SID of this system is ETT).

Is this system is a single system STMS configuration ?

Have you tried importing any other TR on to this system, and is it going fine ?

Hi Mani,

Check whether the systems are in a domain.

Check the stms configurations from -

stms ---> system overview

from Menu SAP system ---> check.

Hello Mandeep,

like I said on my previous reply, please post the lines which contain the error messages from dev_rd, dev_rfc and the correspondent dev_w* trace files.

Best regards,
