Quota and Cost Assignment

Hi,

Can we assign cost assignment to quota type in configuration itself ?

My requirement is that each quota has to be linked to cost center.

The other option is to assign cost allocation on 0416 when it is paid out, but we want it at config level for all employees.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

It is not possible to assign cost center to quota via configuration.

What you can do is assign wage type to quota type, then wage type can be postied to specific G/L account.

This is standard SAP scenario. Normally it serves well FI requirements.

Thanks for the reply. We need to have cost center and GL account going to Finance. So this solution would not work for us.

Any more suggestions please ?
