Hi Experts,

In the asset master data, Origin Tab, we have maintained a vendor and it can be displayed when you check the asset in AS03.

But if you check table ANLA-LIFNR and ANLA-LIEFE in SE16N, only the account number of the vendor can be shown. The name of asset supplier is blank even if there is a data in AS03.

Kindly advise possible reason why ANLA-LIEFE has no data in SE16N.

When you fill in a vendor it takes the name from the vendor (not stored)

When you don't fill in a vendor number you can fill in manual a name That is stored

Hi,

The SAP always takes the venor name from the vendor master. If you even try to change this name, SAP will put back the name from the vendor master and thus the table ANLA does not have the vendor name filled.

The only exeption is one time vendor, where you can enter the vendor name in the asset creation and then it will get populated in ANLA-LIEFE
