Hi guys,
Is there a feature in Portal that can be configured to send email/notification to a system admin when indexing of documents fail?

Hi ZM,
I don't believe this function is available in the portal but it is available from the trex admin tool.If you configure the alertserver in the trex admin tool on your trex server you will recieve email notification if indexing failed. Have a look at the links below for the all the information required to do this.
