Integration EP BO for InfoViewApp iView

Hi

I have 2 questions

1>FIRST

We have followed the steps for integration Kit steps

Installed BOXI 3.0 along with SAP Integration Kit.

configure the SAP authentication on the BOE Server facing to CUA server and not BW server

configure the default system in the option dialog

import the users and roles from CUA system

all machines are in the same domain

created system object in Portal

As well as made the changes on BO server

In web.xml made the following changes

Siteminder.enabled is false

SSO.enabled is true

Authentication.default is SecSAPR3

at both places

\Program Files\Business Objects\Tomcat55\webapps\InfoViewApp\WEB-INF

\BusinessObjects Enterprise12.0\warfiles\WebApps\InfoViewApp\WEB-INF

Now for Stage 2

We want to see the Webi InfoViewApp Reports on Portal

we have created a URL iView in Portal

we have currently given the following link to access the reports directly

http://BOservername:8080/InfoViewApp/listing/main.do?appKind=InfoView&service=2FInfoViewApp2Fcommon2...

Now the issues are

1> when we see the preview of the iView we can see the LOGON screen of BO

2> and when i insert my userid and password I can see the home page of SAP Business Object Infoview

How do I get the SSO working between Portal and BO

and what are the steps for creating InfoViewApp URL iView (iView Parameters i need to edit for URL iView)

Regards

JM

Hi,

Please follow the below link which gives the detailed configuration:

/people/ingo.hilgefort/blog/2010/03/29/sap-businessobjects-enterprise-sap-enterprise-portal--part-1-of-4

You need go through all the parts in the above link (1-4).

And regarding the logon page you are getting, as iView configured will use the OpenDocument for the report to view. So, you have to configure the SSO configuration to the OpenDocument application also.

Update the web.xml of Opendocument application as you did for InfoView application.

Noor.

Thanks Efstratios Karaivazoglou

We do not have SAP BW in the Landscape the SAP Authentication is done with CUA

I have created a System Object in Portal of BO

when I click on the system Object that I have created using the following block

/people/ingo.hilgefort/blog/2010/03/30/sap-businessobjects-enterprise-sap-enterprise-portal-part-2-of-4

I do a Connection Test i get green check mark but in the connector I have given the credentials of CUA server and I can login to BO InfoViewApp page using the CUA credentials when I select the authentication as SAP

All the servers are in the same domain

We want to see the WebI reports that are seen in InfoViewApp Portal and we are not using OpenDoc or BO Explorer

We are only using InfoViewApp

Thanks Nooreazam Sayyad Abdullasab Peerzade

I have gone through all the 4 blogs but the only thing I have not done is I have NOT made changes for OpenDocument and SAP BusinessObjects Explorer files

DO I have to do the changes for OpenDocument and SAP BusinessObjects Explorer ?

Thanks Sebastian Wiefett

I checked the value in web.xml and it is "secSAPR3"

Can you please advise me what more I need to check to make this thing working

Regards

1. Make sure that your SAP EP portal trusts the SAP BW backend system (STRUST transaction). Talk to your SAP Basis administrator about this.

2. Make sure that all systems (EP Portal, BOBJ server, SAP BW backend) are in the same domain.

3. You should use openDocument URLs in the URL iView in order to access directly specific reports (http://help.sap.com/businessobject/product_guides/boexir3/en/xi3-1_url_reporting_opendocument_en.pdf). Make sure that you are using the fully qualified domain name for your BOBJ server in the URL.
