New field in BP_ADDR

Dear friends,

I need to add a new custom field to the BP_ADDR/StandardAddress view (inturn which should be added in the ADRC table) I tried using AET, but with AET, I could add the field only to the BUT000 table.

Could you please suggest me how to add a new zfield to the ADRC table to be available in the above view.

When you add the filed through AET, it would be available to BP_ADDR/StandardAddress view under the folder HEADER in 'Show available fields'.

I need to save the new field data to be reflected in the backend ADRC. Is there any way to achieve this along with the new field being placed in header table through AET

Hi,

If you extend BUILHEADER then the field will be saved in BUT000 only. But I believe it should not be a problem as long as its displayed on UI correctly, right?

Did you refer AXTREG if ADRC is related to the any of the extensible BOs? I do not think AET enhances ADRC through any component.

Hi,

I am not sure if extension to ADRC is supported. Why don't you create the field in BUILHEADER and reference it in the view you need. The BUILHEADER context node is there in standardaddress view as well.
