Problems after restoring from a Backup.

Good morning Experts!

We are trying to implement a backup / restore process for the BPC

application.

We're running BPC version 7, Microsoft SQL 2008.

We would like to have an automated backup schedule for this system. Unfortunately, using the BPC Server Manager tool, we cannot automate this. Therefore, we're trying to run a SQL Backup and at the same time we are zipping up the FileDB and the Webfolders directories just as the application does.

After restoring backup, I try to process the application. This

normally takes 3-5 minutes tops. After restoration, this process takes

over an hour. This does not occur when we use the Server Manager. Only when we try to use our automated backup.

Any idea why this would occur?
