Display Line Items - Define Line Layouts?

I cannot understand what Define Line Layouts means in SPRO.

Financial Accounting -> General Ledger Accounting -> Line Items -> Display Line Items -> Define Line Layouts

I can see that there is some Line Layout Variant (D0,D1D2...), with some Fields, but i cannot understand where this fields or Line Layout Variants are used, in what transactions i can see changes if a made some. This variant reflects line layouts when i post something (f-02, ,f-03, f-04, f-51...) or when i want to see account items or balances ???.

O, you are talking about Define Line Layout, that is under Open Item Processing in SPRO, I figure that out, but i am talking about Define Line Layout that is under Display Line Items in SPRO. Or some one can explain what is Choose Total Fields in SPRO, under Display Line Items, i cannot understand that either.

Hi,

In FB00 > Doc . Display tab, the list comes based on the customization done in transaction O7Z1

In FB00 > Open Items tab, the list comes based on the customization done in transaction O7Z4

Aha, i figure it out, Thanks for the transaction codes, than my question was for customization done in transaction O7Z3?

The line layout defined in O7Z3 are used in the default for transaction in O7V2 transaction.

Hi,

You can use these line layouts in the display of line items in various transactions and you can default a particular line layout for a user master, so that by default the line items comes in that layout for that user.

Go to FB00 > Doc Display tab and there you can assign the line layout

And then when you see the doucment say in FB03, you will see the line items in that format.

I saw that i can choose Line Layout in FB00, but problems is that list of selection is not the same as in SPRO, only 1 Line Layout is the same, and nothing is changing if i choose different Line Layout in FB00, everything looks the same, that what was confusing me.
