Page cannot be displayed in portal

Hi All,

We have a SRM box to which the portal is connected.When we go to procurement -


> Requistion -


> Shopping cart status report in the portal we get a message saying that page cannot displayed which is sporadic.I tried troubleshooting by looking into the respective server node and javascript:document.cookie pasting in the browser window got the server node id and looked at the default traces but found nothing suspicious.Could anyone help me in understanding the issue here.Thanks.

Hi,

have you checked the user/role/group permissions in the portal content directory which contains the SRM iviews?

As i said its sporadic so if the permissions were wrong then it wouldnt have allowed at the first instance itself.Thanks.

Did you check the iview properties? How does it connect to backend? Looks like its able to go to backend in some cases..if possible provide relevant iview properties ..

The error you are getting:

Is this the default error page from Internet Explorer that indicates a DNS error or is it a portal error message (the ones that are in red) ?

Hi,

The issue was due to the time out parameters for ICM being on the lower side.Could anyone throw some light on the below paramters as to how it effects the portal.

We are not getting the error all the time only when the user executes it for more than 15 days.

In DEFAULT.PFL

ms/server_port_0 PROCTIMEOUT=-1

In each of the instance profiles

icm/server_port_0 PROCTIMEOUT=-1

In the webdispatcher profile

icm/keep_alive_timeout = 600
