Hello Sapient's !
I have a scenario,we are doing testing in EHP4 upgrade system,
while creating an order when i specify a material in the component tab ,and chk the availability ,
the order status becomes MACM instead of MSPT. even if there is no stock for that material .
Now i need a warning message when i manually chk the availability if there is a shortage .
Please Suggest a solution without going in the program level.
Also this is working fine with current Prod system which is still not upgraded .
Regards
Ajay!

Hello,
Please Check The OIOI In SPRO-->
For Each of Your Order Type You have to set In Maerial Availability Tab Marked the Check Box -->Check material availability when saving order
Then
For availability check 1--->For Order Type ABC
Maintain Youe Checking Rule which you have created earlier.
Then
For availability check 2--->For Order Type ABC
Maintain Youe Checking Rule which you have created earlier.
In Release Material field .-->2 (Release permitted despite missing parts)
For the procedure for those order type you want it availabilty control
Create the new order and test it again after above cofiguration

Rakesh

Check in the transaction OIOI whether you have maintained the Release material 1 User decides on release if parts are missing
Component Check Type ATP check.
Also check in the material master MRP2 view the availability check 02 is maintained
