PCM install

We are planning to install PCM 7.5 application in windows and database(oracle) in UNIX.

PAM shows UNIX is supported for oracle under PCM.

We heard its not supported but want to confirm with you all.

Does anyone has this heterogeneous setup in their landscape.

Please share your experience.

Hi Vijay,

PCM will connect to an Oracle Database, whether the Oracle SGBD is running on Unix, Linux, Windows does not matter as long as you are able to establish communication from the Oracle client api on the PCM server to the Oracle database instance. I have multiple examples of customers running this configuration.
