Hi Team,

What is the major difference between normal correction and urgetn correction. In what situation we nned to go for normal correction?

In normal correction can we create "n" number of customizing request and "n" number workbench request at a time?

Correct SDMJ is used for NC and SDHF for UC.

here goes explanation in brief.

-->Nc are directly linked to a project cycle transaction and project cycle task list.

-->From within a n c, the creation of a transport request and transport task and the release of related transports are controlled by the change request or normal correction. Imports are done by means of import projects from within the cycle task list.

--> A nc can be shared by multiple developers, and multiple transport requests and transport tasks can be created

-->NC are exported as test transports, which are performed as transports of copies.

-->Up to status consolidated, only test exports are possible: The system generates and exports transports of copies from the workbench or customizing requests of the activity.

-->When the status is transferred to consolidated, all transport requests will be exported and put in the import queue of the quality system.

u2022 No new transport requests can be created for the nc.

-->N c are imported by using the u201Cimport projectu201D method from within the cycle task list.

u2022All exported transport requests are imported using the u201Cimport projectu201D method.

u2022 Transport requests can be imported once into each project system that has the role type target or production.

u2022 During the in Development status only test transports can be performed.

u2022 Test transports are exported and transported as transports of copies into the consolidation buffer.

-->Benefits of using test transports are:

u2022 Workbench objects in transition stay locked in the development system.

u2022 The number of erroneous customizing and workbench requests is reduced. This reduces the import time in production.

-->Uc are transported individually and thus have no time dependency with respect to other correcs.

-->Uc are imported by the transport method import subset and stay in the transport buffer after import.

-->Uc are propagated into other systems at the end of phases in the maintenance cycle together with the normal correcns by the transport method import project all.

--> For nc, the import into the follow-on systems occurs in the historical sequence.

1)Transport requests are generated automatically

2)Test transport functionality is not available.

3)Transports can be propagated directly into the follow-on systems but remain in the transport buffer.

4)Developer and tester must be different persons.

5)An individual task list is used.

6)Only for Maintenance project

Hi,

Normal Correction:

1)Transport requests have to be created manually using actions of the change transaction.

2)Test transports are used during the phase u201CDevelopment with Releaseu201D.

3)Transports are exported and imported in concordance with the phases of the maintenance cycle.

4)A violation against the separation of functions is only a warning.

5)No individual task list but the task list of the maintenance cycle is used.

6)It can be used for implementation and maintenance project

1)Transport requests have to be created manually using actions of the change transaction.

The transaction type is: SDMJ. Am i right? What is the name of the action? Using this action, can i create "n" number of customizing request one after another without releasing the transport requests. Why i am asking this is, in urgnt crction, we can not create more than one customizing / work bench requests at a time. In normal corction, Is the transports are released in bulk? How the release of transport request happens for normal crction?
