SAP HANA LIVE Analysis Authorization assistant error while generating analysis Authorization

Hi Gurus,

The package structure in HANA that we have is as follows:

Content:

  • Package 1->SubPackage1->SubPackage2->Subpackage3
  • Package2->SubPackage A->SubPackage B->Subpackage C
  • Public->
  • SAP->

I am trying to generate a Analytic Privilege using the Analysis Authorization Assistant (AAA) and place it in the main Package (Package 1) itself. When I try this the role is created but I get the error with the Analytic Privilege with the following message:

- "Repository: received error editing state from package; {tenant: , package: Package1, , suffix: analyticprivilege}, state: 5, only subpackages allowed"

We are on HANA Version 1.00.123.03. Please help with the issue as we are trying to place the AP in the main package itself and not the sub package.

Thanks,

Arjun

    Have you tried tracing this error further?

    Its either due to a dependancy issue or the user you are using doesnt have the correct rights.

    Have you tried via Studio?
