Stock in Transit quantity in MB52

Experts,

I see some quantity in MB52 report 'Stock in Transit' column without Sloc and Batch details. As per my understanding this should match with MB5T report.

But in MB5T report for cross-company-code transport orders, the 'Stock in transit' has no values for the same material/ plant combination?

Why does MB52 show erroneous values and how do i correct it?

Thanks for your reply,

1. No PO is locked for this material in plant

2. Only the 'Stock in transit' is shown which means only cross-company POs are existing.

3. MB5T does not show any 'In transit' quantity but MB52 does.

MB5T lists the difference between delivery goods issued and goods receipt to your POs, as so called virtual stock in transfer

MB52 lists the stock in transfer that had been done with inventory managment movements and was updated to MARC table.

you have to find the movements (use MB51) that posted the stock that you can see in MB52.

Check in MB51 if there is a material document with movement type 331 or 303. That means the material was removed from one storage location. Use that document number to place the material into the destination storage location in MIGO.

Materials removed from storage using movement type 331 or 303 do not appear in MB5T.

Had the same problem, thanks for the comment, in my case it was movement type 313.

Hi,

This usually happens in a case where receiving plant has not received the part also the Stock Transfer PO is locked by user.

So, unlock the Stock transfer PO. After this system will start showing the material list in MB5T. Your MB52 & MB5T report will start matching.

Please check the table MBEWH and MARDH for any previous period stock still lies.? also stock in transit may be the dtock customer returns or etc may be checked.If you use the sto MB5T should show the stock in transit.also MMBE shows only your plant stocks.may be that stock in the sending plant ?
