SDCCN - Maintenance Package - updating license error

Hello,

I get the following error when running the Maintenance Package in SDCCN:

> 3. Error updating license data from destination SM_CSMCLNT001_BACK [Maintenance Package]

> 2. refresh_locked_buffer: the buffer in EG memory is too small (required: 6 entries, reserved: 5 entries)

> 1. 7 SAP license key(s) successfully installed.

Any ideas?

Hi Patrick,

Please review SAP Note 1280664.

please set the following parameter on the system

slic/buffer_entries_dig_sig

The value currently assigned is 5 by the system kernel. You need to

assign a value of 15 to this parameter as recommended in the SAP note

1280664.

You must then restart the system

I changed the value of slic/buffer_entries_dig_sig from 5 to 15 on the CI and restarted the system. The error is the same. Do I have to change it only on the CI or on all server including the app servers? Now it ist set to 15 only on the CI.

can you maintained the parameter in all the instance profiles, since by default its maintained in kernal, might nt visible,

I set the parameter in the DEFAULT profile on the CI. To enable the setting you have to restart the app server too.
