You need to show us the formula and what you mean by adding zero.

Also show suppression formula too.

hi,

Formula : GRP1Focus

if ({@Grp1BrandName}={@All Brand Names}) then {@FocusValue NBSH}. when i right click the formula field and select browse data. 0.00 and 8 are displaying.

Suppress formula

GRP1Focus=0

What are the other formulae

How many records does the report return? What happens if you place formual in detail line. Rememeber if you place a formula based on details in report footer it will only return valu of the last record returned.

Hi,

The report returns 6 records. I placed the formula in group footer(group is a dummy group not related to the fields). in the group footer, it is showing as 0.00 and when i see in browse data option, there is 0.00 and 8.00 (8 is the result of the formula) . then how to supress this 0.00 in the footer and place 8 in the first position.

If the formula is in the group footer sort the data by that formula descending, then the highest value will appear in the footer.

Hi,

I think Ian means to change the sort on your Group Footer - right-click, select 'Change Group' and change the sort order on the Common tab.

You may also want to try updating your suppression formula to include isnull option. I've had reports that give a 0.00 value because of a formula but including 'or isnull' sometimes works.

As I asked earlier, we need to know what the other formulae look like too.
