Regarding Overtime Calculations

Dear All,

Overtime is to be paid to eligible employees @ (no of hours) * (Wage Components). These wage components are different across different personnel areas. How can this be mapped in the system.

Approach I propose to use

1. Create different wage types for each PA-PSA combination

2. Create a rule for overtime and query wage type for ESG grouping

3. Do the calculations after running time evaluation.

Is the approach being thought off right? Any response would be highly appreciated

Thanks in advance

Raghu

You can define Time Wagetype Selection rules for different PSA groupings in T510S.

Look ok to me...I dont see why your approach wont work....as you mentioned create diff w/t for each PSG area....

If the overtime rule is same across the PSG...then you can call the same rule for the different PSG ...the only difference will be the generation of the Wagetype!

I think you are on the right track....all the best!

ok

for this firstly you have to go with the generation of time wage type based on PA and PSA combinations later we have to evaluate them in payroll

I don't want to use time wage types. I would prefer writing a PCR instead, any other suggestions?

Thanks

hmmm

its ok but what in case if the client wants to know the Overtime report based on PSA than in that case how you are going to check this one

we can quert the time wage type through operation OUTWPPERSK but we have to check this one in system once

We can know this one only when we test with various Scenarios.

As of now please go ahead and please check while going for the wage types make sure those wage types must be identical based on PSA
