Pass Parenthesis from a BEx prompt to WebI OpenDoc URL

Hello Gurus,

I have a BEx prompt optional prompt allows user to enter free text and that free text contains Parenthesis.

Tried using %28 and %29 URL encode but with no success. Any insights are helpful.

for ex: http://servername/BOE/OpenDocument/opendoc/openDocument.jsp?sIDType=CUID&iDocID=Adr7GVOpr7lJuWc77_GkWZg&lsS0P_FPER=012/2018&lsSZ_VAR_NAME= Access (Care)

We are on SAP BO 4.2 SP5
