Repartitioning Auths

Does anyone know what authorizations are required for repartitioning?

Hi,

I am not sure about the authorization object. What you can do is you can try re-partition in Dev and see SU53 tcode for the last authorization check after each step. This will let you know what authorization object was checked and if there is any authorization issue it will let u know the authorization object for which you do not have authorization.

I'm trying to do a complete repartition on a cube that does not have partitioning set up. The cube has data and it does not allow me to select a time-characteristic.

Hi,

How you are repartitioning? Right click on cube--> additional functions --> re-partition --> Complete Repartitioning.

Hi,

You cannot partition a cube based on 0CALDAY. You can only partition a cube based on 0CALYEAR,0CALMONTH,0FISCPER and 0FISCYEAR infoobjects.
