T001P and TARIF

Hi Friends,

I am confused on the use of T001P and TARIF?

Since they both serve the same purpose, what is the mostly commonly used from both of them. We are using T001P to default Pay scale type and Area.

Can we use both of them together? Or in what kind of occurrence we use both of them together.

Thanks in advance.

Surisetti,

Thanks for the quick response.

Yes I understand we have to use one of them. But are there incidences where we use combination of them?

Why did SAP give these two options? I am just trying to find out the purpose behind providing these two options.

'TARIF' feature dictates if pay-scale area / type is getting from T001P config (if return values of feature is blank ( ' / ') ) or from the feature itlelf.

In short, if default pscale area/ type are configured for specific parea/subarea in both 'TARIF' and 'T001P', config in 'TARIF' will be used instead.

Feature TARIF gives you more latitude (more decision options) in the assignation.
