Value Contract WK validity dates

Former Member

Hi,

We use WK contract, witch has validity dates. The logic of how the dates applied are not satisfying our business needs, as we need to plan our work in PM work order, requisition and purchasing before the contract start date.

I know we can change the error message 06040 to an warning message but the business is concerned that we'll loose control.

Ideally, we'd like to apply the contract validitiy period against delivery date, rather than document date. Is there a way to do it?

As for PM work order, is that doable to open the field "planned start date" at work order - opration item level and apply the contract validity dates?

Really appreciate if some one could help. Thanks!

Regards,

Jully

Hi,

WK is for value contract. Using this contract type, no way you can manage your intended requirement.

MK is ideal choice for your business needs, this will help you to put check on date validity too.

Check and revert.

Thank you,

Dipak
