No detailed lock could be set for characteristic Z_LOC

Hello Experts,

While loading a selection in a Demand planning book, selection eg. Product: 12345678, & Plant : AB*

System throws a message "No detailed lock could be set for characteristic Z_LOC". May I know, why the system is throwing such informative message ?
