Assembly items valuation

Dear all,

we are using network as the platform for manufacturing and for stock valuation, it will be based on unit costing. One question, how can we capture the cost estimates on assmebly items if system don't allow unit costing on assembly items?

I think you means component by "assembly items" !

why not you use network costing for the costing purpose. (you can use CK11N for material cost estimate)

Hi kuldeep,

i trying to create cost estimates on component in network so that system can pick up the estimated price during gr rather than based on the material master std cost. It seems like system does not allow unit cost estmate if i intend to do recieving? Apart from the cost in material maste, how can we achieved this requirement?

Hi,

Check Valuation Variant Strategy in OPN2.

There the strategy defined is usually:

Priority StrategySequence

1. Planned Price

2. Standard price.

3. Moving Average Price.

Change according to your requirement.

(if it is in production environment, then consult to CO consultant prior to making changes)
