Copying from quotaion to sales order

Dear Expert,

When i am copying from quotation to sales order,facing a strange problem.

Problem is: in sales order if i checked the document flow at item level or header level its not showing reference document but once i return backed to main screen means change mode ya display mode of sales order, reference document showing in the document flow.but inside the displayed sales order ya changed order we can not seen the flow..

there is configuration setting is missing ya thsi is SAP Bugs..

Hi Ajit,

Please check your copying control for sales order to sales order from VTAA t-code. and go into item level copying control and Update document flow field as "X"-Create document flow records.

I think it will work on it.

Actually i dont want to copy item data.

my problem is if i am entering in to sales order screen & we want to see document flow at header level,reference document(Quotation) is not appearing.

But at main screen of sales order not inside the sales order we can see the document flow.

Kindly let me know for further input.

Hi,

once you save the sales order,then goto va02 and on the left side on the top u will find the icon document flow,if you click on that icon u can see the list of documents,or in the Environment we have the field document flow just click on that u will find the flow of documents.
