ALV Tree display to Excel

Hi,

I am using cl_gui_alv_tree to display ALV Tree. Is it possible somehow to download this Output to an Excel? I read in many places that it cannot be done. But there is a requirement here and else I have to change the whole design.

Also if I use a custom Excel download button, will it come in the tree fashion in Excel?
