Hi,
Can anyone please tel me the transactions used for the transports of BPC objects.
I have gone through the transport white papers but I am still confused about the transactions used by the basis to import the request.
If possible can anyone please explain the process of transport in brief:
Example:
1) Transaction to create the transport request- TCODE
2) Transaction to release the transport request- TCODE
3)Transaction to import the transport request - TCODE
4) Process in brief.
Please do suggest.
Thanks,
Bobby
Yes, you need to use the UJBPCTR transaction to create the request in the source system. There is a checkbox on that screen, which will allow you to release the request directly from that transaction. If you choose not to release it directly, you can always do it later using transaction SE09/SE10. For import the request into target systems, the Basis people will usually use the STMS transaction.
