Batch determination at delivery stage

Hi friends, i want the batch to be determined at the delivery level not at the sales order.

Should i update the "Allocate SD search Procedure /Activate check"? If its to be updated then in the combination of Sales Org / Dist Ch / Divn /Sales Doc typ /Search procedure / Check batch what should be updated under the "Sales document type" column.

I have updated the delivery item category in the Acitvate Automatic Batch determination in SD". Please advise.
