Hi Experts,
Payments for external maintenance tasks are made through PRs created via PM order. These PRs will convert to POs later. In our scenario, value entered at the PR level would not allowed to be changed at PO level. Further budget controls are applied at PO level through FM.
Other option available for PM budget control is via a WBS element which linked to IM.
Query is to knowwhether there is another way to control budget at PM Order level.. ?

Hi,
Try the following steps:
1.Create budget profile in IMG (T.Code -OF12)
2.Assign budget profile to maint. order type in IMG (T.Code- IOIA)
3.Create budget (T.Code- KO22) against maintenance order no.
This is also an alternative for PM order budgeting.

Hi Sank,
Since you have FM (Funds Management) active in your system you can use the same for Maintenance Orders also.
You can activate the FM for Maintenance Orders and the Budget is controlled for each Fund Center & G/L.
The Funds Center can be derived based on your Business requirement.
If required we may have to do some development for derivation of Fund Center.
For complete details you may get in touch with your FM consultant.
We are using it in Real Estate company Scenario, here the Funds Center if that of the Building (Linked to FL)
