Is it possible to auto refresh a FMS field based on multiple conditions?

I have a Form Field that needs to get a data value (quantity*tax amount) on Sales Order. This field is called DepositFeeAmount.

When I make attached query to above FMS field as Autorefresh for ItemCode, it (DepositFeeAmount) gets populated only when item is changed or added for the first time.

However, I would like the field DepositFeeAmount to also change whenever the Quantity is changed on above line.

If I make the autorefresh based on Quantity Field, then on initial load, I have to click the field DepositFeeAmount manually for the amount to be displayed.

What could I do?

Thanks for your help.

It is not possible to auto refresh a FMS field based on multiple fields. You may try some other fields like line total. If quantity changes, line total should change too.

Hi Gordon the field I actually want to refresh off of is this : Qty(Inventory UoM). This field would be perfect to refresh of.

However, above field is not available in the refresh fields drop down on 'User-Defined Values Setup' Panel {When Exiting Altered Columns} - The column Qty(Inventory UoM) is not present. Is this a bug?

Using 8.8 Patch 14.

Thanks.

Hi Gordon, also that field Qty(Inventory UoM) is kind of blued out (blue color) on sales order panel. Not sure what that means.

This field contains numeric eaches that is multiple of Inventory Unit of Measure TIMES the quantity in Sales Unit of Measure.

Have you checked Quantity field?

Yes I did that, it is not the Qty.(Inventory UoM).

Gordon, I think the problem is certain fields are inactive (greyed out) on every Form Settings panel for most panels. Not sure why some fields are inactive. Qty.(Inventory UoM) happens to be one of them. Hence that blue line on sales order panel and he ce it is not accessible through Query Generator's autofresh changed fields.

Can this problem be resolved? is there a switch to make those inactive fields become active?

Thanks.
