Wage Types with /'s infront of it..

Hello everyone,

I just started learning SAP HR- Payroll part .

I was wondering how are the wage types starting with /'s are used? and what are they used for?

I read what they're about on SAP, SPRO but of course it's not easy to learn them without actually using them.

Am I able to customize them or are they stable wage types?
