Hi Gurus,
I developed scheduled jobs with SM36 with my dialog user account. However, the SAP capture my account as the user to trigger the jobs. How can define a service user account for scheduled jobs?
Cheers.
Hi,
How can define a service user account for scheduled jobs?
Simple. Create a new service user in SU01 with the correct authorizations and then go to SM37, select your job, choose change. Select the job step and choose change again. You can then specify the new service user to run it.

the owner of the job is not important, what is important is the user of each steps of your job. change them to a generic user with proper authorizations.

Dear Cheers,
create new user and go to su01----->logon data---> user type---->service
