Default font size -1

Hi,

I am dealing with a strange situation. When I create a new WebI report on my PC, the size of the font is -1, the background color is yellow. But when I logged in from any other PC, I am getting the usual Arial, 8 with light blue background color. Anyone have any idea on how to fix my PC to revert back to the default?

This should also work using the latest version of Java. When you get an error message about trusting the source, be careful to read the disclaimer.

When the Java panel shows up in the bottom right of your screen, change the following setting.

Security > Mixed Code > Enable - hide warning and run with protections

Then you shouldn't have any further issues. I found this extremely annoying.

Hi Brian,

I think this might have to do with the version of java you are running on that machine. What is your BO version and your Java version? If Java is higher than version 1.6 update 17 that could be the cause. If you have a higher version, like 1.6 update 20, I would uninstall Java and reinstall the 1.6 update 17 (or lower).

I am running BO XI 3.1 and Java 1.6.

Hi Brian, do you know what Java update number? That is the important part. If it is update 17 or lower then this is probably not your problem. If it is higher than 17, this could be your problem. For instance, I had update 20, and this was causing me problems.

IT"S WORKED.

I was runing Java 1.6 update 21. I have downgraded as you sugested. My new WebI reports looks fine now.
