ABA level within Supported platforms guide for SAP versions

In the supported platforms guide for BOBJ in relation to SAP app versions that are supported, it mentions ABA level. What in the world is ABA level? I assume it has something to do with ABAP level but i cannot find a thing out there. Thanks.
