KKAN - Results Analysis Log

Hi , I understand that the log of Results analysis gets written to table CMFP and can be deleted using T-code KKAN. Since we need to do a similar excercie in huge volume , I wanted to make sure that the KKAN ( deletion of log) won't have any impact on any other functionality.Has anyone used it before?
