Input screen field not greyed-out

Hello Abap experts,

I am using an user defined screen and on the screen of the function group I have removed the INPUT check on the element list of the input-output field concerned but on the transaction screen display the particular field is still open for input.

I have also generated and activated the screen and function group.

Could anybody shed light on what I could have missed to get this screen field greyed-out?

regards

    Hello Shiva,

Thanks for the reply. When I click on the output only check-box it removes the field from the screen completely...is there any way to continue to display the field but to have it greyed-out only

It should display any data that is there, but display only.

Another thing you can do is deselect 'output only' and then also deselect 'input'. Make sure 'output field' is the only one selected.

Click on "Output Only" option available on the screen field attributes in addition to removing "Input"

    Regards
