Message Mapping error

I am having message mapping error in my mapping

Runtime exception during processing target field mapping /ns0:DataManagement/Employee[2]/P0001[3]/KOSTL. The message is: Exception:[java.lang.StringIndexOutOfBoundsException: String index out of range:
