hi bex gurus,
i have a problem with my workbooks:
if i change the variable input, the number of result rows differs - thats not my problem...
but when the resultset was decremented, the "old" rows which had values before the refresh, keep their format (blue colour...)... so if i want to print the workbook, i get many empty sheets with blue lines...
is it possible to refresh the design of those rows automaticly?
best regards,
philipp
Hi,
Basically you can do two formatting settings in workbooks:
->Go to design mode and select the table properties you will find checkbox called Apply formatting if you select this the formatting changes (BEx Query) will automatically reflect to all the result rows.
->When the Apply formatting checkbox is unchecked then the formatting changes(customized) will be applicable to the selected rows. For Ex:- If you apply the formatting to first 100 rows, though the result set is less than 100 rows formatting will be applicable to those rows.If the result is more than 100 say 110 rows the formatting changes will be applicable for only 100 rows and the last 10 rows will be left out withou any formatting changes.
Hope this helps...
