No data with EVGET & EVGTS but no problem with EVDRE

Hi to all,

I loaded finance data into my cube with no problem.

I developed some reports on BPC 7.0 SP4 and when i run EVDRE() i see all correct data in the report but when i use EVGTS or EVGET i get all data as 0.

Can you please give some direction to debug or solve this problem?

Hi,

Try to process your application from the Administration Console (Modify application, with both options checked). And then, optimize it.

Basically, EVGET and EVGTS functions are retrieving data from the cube, and EVDRE is retrieving data from the SQL fact tables (for base members)...

So the problem might come from the cube, or your EVGET and EVGTS functions are not built correctly.

Hi Maurizio,

I would request you to open a dynamic template. The dynamic templates are based on EVGTS function. See, if you are able to see the data in it or not. Please make sure that you have data for the members maintained in the action pane. If you are able to see data, then the problem is with your EVGTS or ECGET function.
