Project Forecast (CJ9L) Error

Former Member

Hi All

I have created a simple Project with Internal Network Activity (NWA).

Plan Version 0 has been updated with appropriate planned cost.

Partial Confirmation has been posted.

Forecast work is greater than actual work in the Dates TAB of the Internal NWA

Scheduled finish dates are in current period or greater.

When we execute CJ9L no objects are selected for processing? Can anybody please expalin why this may be the case.

I do not believe there is any outsatanding configuration? The costing variants must be working to enable calculation of the Plan Version 0 amount.

System calculates forecast values only for activity account assigned networks. Check whether your network is activity account assigned or not.

Hi Peter,

Please double check, if the co-area of transaction CJ9L is the same as the co-area of the inputed project.

In CJ9L, menu extra -> set controlling area

run CJ03 (e.g.) input the involved project, check the controlling area.

Kind regards,

Zhenbo

Thanks Ahmed

The network type has been configured for account assignment at the activity level.

Do you have any other thoughts?

Hi,

Kindly check if the 'Planning' indicator is set for network type.

Hey,

I suppose you need to check for WBS field for network/order and activity in database profile you are selecting while executing forcast report. by this i feel that you will get forcasting report.

Peter,

Apart from the suggestions made by the forum member, I would suggest you to read the SAP help document and see what you have missed. It has detailed out the prerequisites required for CJ9L.

Hi,

>Kindly check if the 'Planning' indicator is set for network type.

Kindly check this, as it overrides setting in OPSV.

Regards,

Harsh.
