TDMS4HCM: How to delete the not needed OM

Hello,

I have done in our test system the folllowing actions:

1st I do the client copy with the profile SAP_UCSV to setup my receiver client for TDMS4HCM

2nd I tansfer only one person from source to target for my test by using the ERP Initial Package for HCM Personnel Administration (PA)

Problem:

The new client contains the whole organisation management (Germany and Benelux), that is due to the client copy.

I want the client only with Benelux OM, not Germany.

How can I do it? is there any methode to delete the Germany OM?

Thanks all of you for your Helps.

King regards

Sandoz

My opinion is that you can select that single person from Benelux to transfer to the receiver.

The transfer will delete the content from the receiver first. So it might end up with Benelux OM only .

Another possibility is to use ERP inital package for master data & customizing and work with HR people

to see whether German OM can be excluded.

Again, I did not do this scenario before . This is only my guess.

BTW, why you use SAP_UCSV , not SAP_CUST in your client copy?

    Hi Sandoz,

With "ERP Initial Package for HCM Personnel Administration (PA)", you wont be able to delete the OM data since this package only considers PA data for deletion.

Your requirement can be achieved in the scenario, "ERP Initial Package for HCM Personnel Dev. PD & PA". Here, in the activity "Transfer Selection Criteria" -> Click on button "PD Selection" -> Go to tab "PD Delete and Target Options". Here, if u select the option "Delete complete objects" and check "Delete Target Area", then all OM data would be deleted before retransferring Benelux OM.

    Regards,

    Suman

      Hello suman,

      thanks you for your reply,

I use the scenario, "ERP Initial Package for HCM Personnel Dev. PD & PA" . I selected the Benelux OM for transfer and do the following: I click on the buton "PD selection" and "PD delete and target Option", I select the option "Delete complete objects" and i check "Delete Target Area" but unfortunataly only the Benelux OM was deleted. Germany, netherland, center Europe are still in target system. Only the Data were seleted for the transfert are deleted in the target system.

I think i do something wrong. Do you have any idea?

      thanks

      Hello Sandoz,

This is expected behavior in my opinion, only the PD data which is included in your selection criteria will be deleted.

We are using abap report RHRHDL00 to clean up OM data in the target system.

      Best regards,

      Louis Simons
