hi experts,

In the grid i delete the row and update it .my problem is when i press update button in status bar iam getting a message like "Cannot insert the value NULL into the column code".can anybody suggest me some ideas to get out of this issue.

Hello,

If it is an UDO form, and the Grid is directly linked to UDO data source, you must provide a value in the Code field in the grid(make not visible, or not editable) .

Code field in a mandatory field in UDO / UDT, which has to be filled.

Hi,

Probabbly whenever you are updating, the code field contains NULL. And SAP doesn't allow to insert data without value in code field.

Have you checked if there are some rows with the code null in the rest rows?
