How to restrict product hierarchy

Hi All,

This is with respect to the product hierarchy in the product catalog in webshop

Currently, the product catalog is showing the 4 levels of hierarchy for a product, something like this

Product A (Level 1)

-

---

Product A1 (Level 2)

-

---

Product A2 (Level 3)

-

---

Product A3 (Level 4)

-

---

Product A4 (Level 4)

-

---

Product A5 (Level 4)

Can someone please let me know how to restrict this hierarchy to only 3 levels.

Hello Bansal,

As per my knowledge the easiest solution is to de activate the sub area in the catalog configuration.

But in front end you need to check the sub items and should make visible or invisible.

may be restructuring of the product catalog is the solution. ask your business to restructure catalog levels to 3 only.

Thanks for the response. Currently, the requirement is just to hide this in front-end, so was looking for clues of how to do this in front-end.
