User Exit for Creating Notification

Dear Experts,

Measuring Points are created in the system and are updated through posting measurement documents. A measurement point is having a predefined allowed value range. There is a requirement to create a Notification automatically as and when the posted value for a particular point is deviated from the Range.

Is there a 'user exit' exists for cater the requirement? If yes, Please let me know.. Or anyother ways are welcome...
