difference between MM-SUS and SRM-SUS

Dear Experts,

One Basic Question...........

As per my understanding,

  • MM-SUS is the one which is conected to ECC system.

This will work for all the materials.

  • EBP-SUS is the one which a part of SRM system which only works for classic/stand alone scenario.

This does not work for direct materials.

Is this correct?

Hi

MM-SUS - > works well for Classic Scenario --> Plan Driven Procurement, Service Procurement. So Direct Materials and any PO generated in ECC for Services, limit POs are supported. Collaboration of all documents PO, POR, Confirmation, ASN, Invoice is possible with vendor here... XI is the communication medium between SUS and MM. ESOA is needed for Service procurmeent. Extended classic can also work here but you will need a modification in system to stop PO Output from SRM and trigger the output from MM to SUS....

SRM-SUS --> Primarliy for Indirect procurement(Extended classic) - Collaboration possible only for PO and POR. For Services, SRM will be a standalone scenario and only FI Docs will be posted to ECC

ok. Thanks. Your answer is helpful.

But can you confirm whether my understanding viz,

  • MM-SUS is the one which is conected to ECC system.

  • EBP-SUS is the one which a part of SRM system.

Is this correct?

Or can you give somemore explaination about the landscape to be used for these...?
