How Can I change Profit center attached a GL?

Is profit center link with a specific GL ? How can I change a Profit center linked with a GL.

Hi ,

The relevant settings are done in OKB9 , where in you can define the setting for GL to profit center .

please check the entries there .

GL is defaulted for profit center in FAGL3KEH (New GL) or 3KEH(Classic GL)

delete the entry here.

Master Data

Profit Centre

Assign Default Profit Centre to Accounts

We can change the profit centre to GL Account.

GL "X" & "Y" is concern with plant "A" and require profit center 20000 instead of 12000.

Solution 1:-

You can link in transaction OKB9.

Solution 2:-

Usually we can give a cost center by default to a cost element.

This cost center has a profit center.
