Dear Friends,
We have four application servers on our production box, there are background jobs scheduled , this background jobs are scheduled to be deleted every week. So we can see only background jobs not older to a week.
My question is, is there any way to find out the total jobs run in a month and how long each job has run and also if the job has sent any spoolrequest and whether it has been printed or not.
Also is there a way we can know for each spool in a month how many pages it printed in the same way for all the spools how many pages each spool has printed.For e.g there are 10000 spools in a month and only 5000 spools may have printed, so i want to know which spool has printed and how many pages. I am able to find only information older to a week, not more than that.
I know there is SPAD and SPO1 transactions but our spool system is set in such way to delete jobs older than 3 days.
Please help friends.
Thanks,
Kris.
Hi Kris,
I am not sure How much My answer will help you. But you can refer the tables which contains all the info about background jobs ,
BTCCTL-> Control table for background processing
BTCDELAY-> Directory of delayed system log messages for batch scheduler
BTCEVTJOB-> List of jobs waiting for events
BTCH1000-> Batch job statuses from the system menu
BTCH1010-> Display/Edit start date and period values
TBTCO-> Job Status Overview Table
TBTCP ->Background Job Step Overview
Toknow How much time each BG job ran, you can make use of ST03N -> Expert Mode -> Monthly Stats -> Select Background.
The above will only give the runtimes of the reports in the background.
For Spool level checking , You can use TST01,TSP01 and TST03 . This may help you finding the number of pages things like that.
Thanks,
Jagadish
