GUI Status with ITS Mobile- Possible?

Former Member

Hi,

I am trying to make a custom transaction available with ITS Mobile. I've read SAP Help and the Wiki Page and followed the steps. Now I can see the screen on a RF Gun but there are no GUI Status Buttons except for "Execute" and "Logoff". The problem is now, that i need the custom buttons just like I have them, when I call the transaction in SAP GUI.

In Wiki Post [http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/mobile/MobileITSforBeginnerswith+steps]

I've read, that I should not include custom buttons in GUI Status, but I need the GUI Status Buttons, otherwise I need to change the whole program. Is there any possibility to have the GUI Status Buttons shown?

Can someone help me with this issue?

Thanks in advance

Hello Ela,

I am not sure about GUI Status, but you can check SAP note 1037715 for the support screen elements in ITSmobile.

I hope this helps.

Best regards,

Cristiano

thanks for your answers.

To make my question clear. The Screen, I created a Template for, is the Standard Selection Screen 1000. In the Application Toolbar are 4 Buttons. One of them is the standard Execute (F8) Button. When i create the Template I only get the Execute Button but not the 3 other custom buttons. Do you know if there is any possibility to show the other buttons with ITS Mobile?

thanks in advance

Hello Ela,

You should put the buttons in the user area, than regenerate the templates. The buttons will than be available in the ITS Mobile. Sorry, I mis-spoke earlier, buttons should be in the user area for the ITS Mobile.

As an example look at service ../test/mobile/itsmobile01, transaction ITMOBILE01.

Hello Ela,

It is not clear what the "GUI Status Buttons" are. Did you put buttons that are required for your application into the Menu, Title, or System Function bar? This is not recommended. All of the buttons that are required for your application should be in the userarea (dynpro area) or the Application Toolbar. Buttons in the System Function or Title or Menu bar will not appear in the ITS Mobile. Thanks.
