To restrict the custom fields for 2 sub-types in 0021 infotype.

Hi,

I have enhanced the infotype 0021 for 3 fields, these fields are displayed for all the subtypes,but i want these fields to be displayed only for spouse and child sub-type.If someone knows how to do it, please help.

Hi Rashmi,

First you have to create two variants for the screen in table t588m. One where the 3 fields are hidden and another where the 3 fields are visible.

Using feature p0021, you can default these two screen varaints based on the sutb types.

Again i am stuck creating variant in table t588m, it asks me for a variable key wat do i give there?

Usually variable key will be the return value for the feature. Give any number and the same needs to be return value in feature and activate
